Section Management - Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in your assigned section (e.g., grill, fish, pasta, pastries, etc.).
Quality Control - Ensure all food leaving your section meets the restaurant's high standards of taste, presentation, and safety.
Menu Contribution - Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and refine menu items, incorporating seasonal and fresh ingredients.
Training & Supervision - Mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills.
Inventory & Ordering - Manage stock levels and orders for your section, ensuring ingredients are fresh and well-stocked.
Cleanliness & Safety - Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Experience - Relevant experience in the culinary field (varies by position), preferably experience in a professional kitchen.
Skills - Strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and a passion for food. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player - Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team.
Flexibility - Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
